About HFBC
Located on the corner of Lower Mill and Grubb Road in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Hixson First Baptist Church serves its community with
a love for its neighbors, a joy in its service, and a passion for exalting and proclaiming our Lord Jesus Christ.
It is our mission to reach our neighborhood, our city, our nation, and our world with the gospel that changes lives and leads to
everlasting life and glory with our God in heaven. We are not ashamed to be Christans, and we proclaim unwaveringly the truth of the
Scriptures.
Our style of worship is blended, with modern hymns and songs of praise joined artfully with the great songs of the faith. Teaching
from the pulpit is expository and founded on a Bible we hold to be inspired of God, without any mixture of error. Our missions
emphasis has sent teams around the world--to Ukraine, Africa, and elsewhere--and directly supports many missionaries, as well as
those who serve the Southern Baptist Church under the North American Missions Board and the International Missions Board with support
from the Cooperative Program.
