LifeStage Bible Study Groups

"Sunday School" for this new millenium must be purposeful, focused and missional. Because communities and society are ever changing, the methodology we use to communicate timeless truths must evolve to be effective. At Hixson First Baptist, we vigilantly strive to communicate contemporary relevance of Scripture within the context of its never changing message..

We have discovered that life stage organization helps adults mature in their relationship with Christ, no matter where they are in the discipleship journey. In order to accomplish that we desire the opportunities to be:

PURPOSEFUL

The Bible is the greatest resource for a purposefull, meaningful life. Effectively taught and passionately learned, the principles of God's Word are sure and certain guidelines for every area of our lives.

FOCUSED

At its fundamental core, the Bible is a journal of man's spiritual pilgrimage from creation in Genesis to eternity in Revelation. Every truth contained therein focuses on one singular dynamic: RESTORING SINFUL MAN TO HIS INTENDED RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

MISSIONAL

Bible study which is true to its purpose and focus will communicate and apply truth to real living. Bible study groups provide numerous by-products such as service, fellowship and ministry which enhance the true mission of God's Word: salvation by faith in Jesus Christ.
