Adult Bible Study Options

In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus commands His followers to "go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I will be with you always, to the very end of the age." At Hixson First Baptist, our goal is for Bible study to equip our members to fulfill this....Great Commission.

Married Adult Bible study groups are designed to provide a place where each individual feels welcome and accepted, can grow spiritually through intentional, systematic study of God's Word, and then be motivated to reach out and invite others to participate and join.

This is a three-dimensional focus, where classes become more than a group of friends. They become a Great Commission team with a clear motivation, mission, and ministry.

Members of Married Adult Bible Study Groups are on mission to:

  • Create a welcoming environment that encourages members to invite others to Jesus and the fellowship of His followers.
  • Provide small group experiences where people can discover and understand the great truths of the Bible and be encouraged by the faith experiences of believers.
  • Help everyone connect with Jesus and the mission of His church through fellowship and ministry.
In an effort to help our adults invite, discover and connect more effectively and meaningfully, our Sunday morning Bible Study Groups are organized by age and life stages.
