Have you ever been in a place where you felt alone? A place where you felt that no one would want to see or understand what you were going through. We have all been through these times and understand where you are. At The Well, we believe that you are not meant to go through these times alone. We believe that the true testament to God’s grace is for us to come alongside those who are facing the same problems that we have already journeyed through and helping them grow in their journey with God. The Well consists of four components, all working together seamlessly to give individuals a true idea of what we feel God’s true calling is for all of our lives. These four compartments include: The Wednesday Night Experience – Starting at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday nights, The Well will offer a contemporary style worship and a message that focuses on real life issues that are applicable to the everyday individual’s everyday life. Worship together doesn’t always mean forming relationships with one another. To avoid this, we will be hosting a gathering in our Christian life center (CLC) immediately following the service so that you can get to know those who you are worshiping with every Wednesday night. This will also provide you a great opportunity to plug in to one of our dynamic small groups with individuals you feel comfortable being around. Small Groups - If The Well can be summed up into one word it would be "Relationships". Known as the heartbeat of The Well, the small groups allow individuals to start forming relationships with people who they feel comfortable being around. Focusing on life’s issues, the small groups is more than likely the place where you will want to spend the majority of your time. Being held on various nights throughout the week, there is something for everyone. Have kids? We have you covered. There will be various outlets for childcare ranging from already existing children’s programs to childcare being provided at the location hosting your small group. Outreach - In Mark 12:31 it says to love your neighbor as yourself. At The Well, we have taken this verse to heart and we believe that everyone wants the best for themselves but sometimes neglect to try to do what is best for their neighbor. It is for this reason that we encourage all of those who want to be part of The Well to get involved with one of our many mission projects that we will be involved in. We not only have a heart for people overseas but we feel there are individuals who are in need just around the corner from us. This is why we are dedicated to fulfilling this verse and loving our neighbor as we love ourselves. Prayer - Prayer is a powerful thing. Whether you are a veteran prayer or just starting out, there is a place for you. The Well will be hosting a prayer room for individuals who either have a burning desire to spend their worship time deep in prayer or for those who want to come and pray for those who are enjoying the Wednesday night experience. We are under the belief that God is behind every aspect of what we do and a constant communication with him is the only way to ensure that we all are headed in the way he desires for us to go.
